As a newborn, I kept her bassinet pulled up next to my side of the bed, sleeping with one hand inside, because, although it was entirely unfounded, I had a fear that something would happen to her while she slept.
And this week, she turned 15.
Happy birthday, beautiful girl.
What a scare that must have been for you and your family! I'm glad things worked out.

DeleteHappy Birthday to your 'baby girl'! She is so beautiful. I'm with Mrs AR -- you said a lot in few words. Kudos ...because it's something I have a hard time doing. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kari. I started to write a longer post, then deleted it in favor of this instead.
DeleteAww. So much mama love. Lucky both of you - hope it was a happy bday!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That first sentence was a doozy. I can't imagine how that would feel, having a beautiful brand new baby and not knowing if you'd get to see her grow up. So glad you did! =)
