Every Survivor Has A Story - Here's Mine

Somewhere, somehow, while trying to make sense of my breast cancer diagnosis, I stumbled upon Wendy Nielsen, a blogger and writer (is that redundant?) and her fabulous "Breast Cancer 101" series and have been a follower ever since. How I wish I had found her BEFORE my surgery! Wendy's story of her own diagnosis and treatment are inspiring, and she is now a devoted advocate for breast cancer research and awareness. 

Earlier this summer, Wendy asked for volunteers interested in being part of a series she wanted to do during the month of October highlighting how life goes on after a breast cancer diagnosis, how it's the beginning of a new story, and much to my delight, she chose me to participate, to be one of 21 breast cancer survivors to share stories of survival and hope.
