    1. IT'S THE ACTUAL CAR! See Granny's chair on the back? Paul Henning, the creator of the show, was a Missouri boy who had vacationed in the area as a child. They filmed several episodes of the show at Silver Dollar City, and Henning and his wife bought land and donated it for a beautiful state park with trails and mountain views.

  3. yeah, I saw Granny's chair and knew it was the actual beast! Very cool about the park even though he had horrendous taste in television!

    1. They were horrid shows, although my friend and I used to play Petticoat Junction sometimes. No one wanted to be Bobbie Jo, though.
